My mum never talked about having period or reproduction. I learn this from school. A nurse came to our school and we had the boys out of the class and the nurse would tell us about what to do when we get our period. But even after the talk, I was really flustered when I had my first period. I didn't know I was bleeding. I kept changing my panties because I thought I had stained it until my mom asked me what I was doing and she gave me a pad.
