A teenager received an award Tuesday night from the city of Charlotte for her bravery in helping her aunt get through a premature birth.
Enriqua Green-Gadston called 911 when the aunt went into labor.
Enriqua told the 911 operator the baby was about to be born.
"It's still moving," Enriqua told the 911 operator.
The operator, asking Enriqua about her aunt, then said: "She feels it coming out farther?"
Enriqua replied, "... like it's still coming out."
Emergency workers honored the 14-year-old Tuesday evening at police headquarters in uptown Charlotte.
They say she followed the operator's instructions and kept her aunt calm.
