Perk up soggy lettuce by soaking in cold water with some lemon juice. To store place in a zip lock bag with paper towel to absorb moisture.

Everytime I see this thread I still laugh!

What I want to know is why eat bog standard lettuce anyway, it tastes of nothing and is limp and useless.

I've never had soggy lettuce unless I make a salad and never finished so it sat in fridge a few days till I throwed which is rare. Cuz we all love lettuce. My daughter is a little rabbit food eater. Hehe She loves it's color and it taste yummy. So ya if it gets soggy I just throw.

Ya Tupperware parties are here in the US also. But ya lettuce should never go soggy if kept in a container and eaten after a few days of being opened. If it goes soggy then it should be thrown.
