IT'S a simple yellow bracelet. But to Wirral teenage cancer sufferer Emily Smith, the LiveStrong band around her wrist is a testimony to the courage of children everywhere who battle the disease.
Yet to her school, it is a fashion accessory and health and safety risk, so she has been banned from wearing the wristband created by champion US cyclist Lance Armstrong who beat cancer.
Emily, 14, from Dingwell Drive, Greasby, who has to take 24 tablets a day to combat the side effects of chemotherapy, has refused to take the bracelet off.
