Do u know of any remedies or "old wives tales" for getting rid of hiccups? Tell us!

Try this one.....

push ur thumbs against ur ear lobes, close ur nostrils using ur little fingers......

then swallow!

Did it work?? Hopefully it did, if not, u had fun trying!! hehe!!

Another one is put ure fingers in ure ears and get someone to give u a drink. U swallow til they're gone. if there is no one there to help just get a big glass of water and just swallow til they're gone. Works for me everytime :tu:

Drinking water upside down has always worked for me.

You've got to bend forward over the glass far enough so that your head is below the glass. Trust me, it's not as weird as it sounds and you don't even need to drink a whole glass - just a few mouthfuls.
