Six masked gunmen have taken more than fifty students and teachers, including a British child, hostage in a school in Cambodia.
Reports have said the men stormed the international school in Siem Reap province, near the tourist site of Angkor Wat, and demanded money, weapons and a getaway car.
Police say armed attackers stormed the building at about 0930 (0230 GMT).
A government spokesman said up to 70 hostages were initially detained, but the gunmen had set many free.
Deputy military commander Cheang Sokhon said: "Military police in Siem Reap have surrounded the school but the group is hiding behind the students and teachers."
