I finished The Da Vinci Code a few days. I thought it was great with some really ingenious puzzles. It's a great concept. At times though, his writing seemed a bit clumsy. The subtle hints at a potential relationship between Robert Langdon and Sophie Neveu really weren't all that subtle.
Overall, though, I thought it was brilliant. Just don't read it when you have other more important things to do. It's impossible to "stop at the end of this chapter" because it almost always ends on a cliffhanger.
So, 8/10 from me
