I too use alcohol to sanitize surfaces, it dries very quickly. To clean glass I use vinegar in a spray bottle, I also use vinegar on my tile floors. To clean surfaces I use water mixed with vinegar and a few drops of lemon or orange juice. The acid in both helps break down any dirt and also gives it a nice smell. Be sure to try a small spot first so that you know if it is the right ratio. Nothing worse than cleaning only to find that you have sticky counters after wards.
