A few years ago we didn't have to supply many things for our children in school. You had the basics and if you didn't have the money or if your child ran out, then the school would have extras. That seems to have changed over the last couple years!
You wouldn't believe the list of stuff I had to get for the kids this year (and they are not in high school yet either.) I have talked with other parents in other school districts and they are saying the same thing this year. Where are the increased taxes going? Just out of curiosity.
Did you have to get more school supplies now then you had to when you were younger? I mean I can see in high school and college, but in the lower grades it just seems to be a bit crazy!
