A CONTESTANT from Big Brother faces being deported from Britain after immigration officials began assessing whether she had broken the terms of her visa.
Makosi Musambasi, 24, who is from Zimbabwe, had permission to work as a cardiac nurse but left her job at Wycombe Hospital in Buckinghamshire to appear on the show. She has appeared in magazines, and spoke at the Edinburgh International Television Festival this month. Questions were raised about her visa status during her stay on the show.
A car in which she was a passenger was stopped by Surrey police on Monday and she was questioned on suspicion of not wearing a seatbelt. She was later interviewed by immigration officers. She is understood to have reapplied for a visa.
