Breastfeeding/weaning??

Ok so its been just over a week now since lily has been breastfed and i thought thing where going well. But last night i found a lump on my right boob im thinking its just my milk ducts because its very sore to touch. did any of you have these problems after weaning?

Do you have a breast pump? I'm unsure and maybe someone else can correct me... maybe there's a build up of milk now that needs released?

If you're worried at all I would consult a doctor, or you health visitor?

Sounds similar to the problem i had when i breast fed. Is there a red area? if so it could be slight mastitis. its nothing to worry about, don't stop breast feeding as the problem can become worse if you do and it does not affect the milk. if it is mastitis try putting a warm flannel on the area and massage, it will be sore to start with but that goes and you get some relief. If you are worried or it becomes worse do as Snowy says and see your Doctor or midwife.
