I can't imagine it myself, however if third world countries or if you are backpacking it may be useful and come in handy. I know there are nappies/diapers that are green, but I'm not sure about a maxi pad. Having been caught out while on a trekking holiday it maybe useful when you are in the jungle or up a mountain, so maybe there is a market for them?
