Once I have fallen, not willing to follow that path of pain and destruction
The nightmare for which I see has only began
Don't take these words in vein, for the words I whisper are those of your darkest day
Hear the wind whispering through the trees, the wind blowing singing a soft melody
The fire of desire burning oh so quietly creeping into your dreams
You feel the fire piercing through the darkness of your soul
illuminating that which has not been seen
But what can you do you're merely having a dream.
From the darkness there comes hope
The betrayal of another ends in heart break
Those who you trust are few
You're known as a failure
But are just misunderstood
The river of mistakes overflows
Lost forever in darkness
Lost looking for your soul
In dispair, and feeling foresaken
Weary and don't believe
You tread on for the slightest amount of hope that you'll awake and be free from this never ending dream.
The darkness you hate
The darkness engulfs your soul
You begin to see the darkness has made you strong and set you free
In the end you believe
You awake and see it's not a dream
The darkness is no longer in control
The keeper of your own light and darkness.
