Sometimes, these things happen when they are supposed to happen.  Thankfully, my spouse and I stayed with our marriage long enough to have one beautiful daughter.  Some couples split up after three or four years with no children cause they feel it is not worth waiting for.  We were always trying to have a baby, during that time, but not really expecting cause of so much disappointment from not having been able to conceive before.  Yet, we were always hopeful. Yes, I know that sounds contradictory.  But, when you go through the same heartbreak every month for years on end, it can be very discouraging.  Anyway, best of luck with the babies.  Hopefully they will be along soon.
