Reply to thread

It seems I have a number of watched threads meaning I'm getting emails I don't want.  My alert preferences correctly show that I don't want any email.  When I pull up my watched threads, I do not see any way of deleting them.  How can I do that?  I don't want emails and I don't want to have to reply to all of these (it's a long list) in order to get rid of them.
