I know I'm late to this thread so the situation may be resolved now, but... wow. I can understand a guy being close to his family and all, and maybe even put his family first depending on how long you've been together and how serious the relationship is, but to give you NO priority whatsoever? That's just wrong. It also does seem odd to me that you're not to meet his parents until after you're married. Parents are usually involved in wedding plans, so I'm not sure how that would work out if you aren't "allowed" to meet them beforehand (unless his family expects your family to do all the work). If he remained stubborn after talking to him about it, I personally would have said "see ya."
