That is so damn cool!

Or you can refer to it in it's acronym form, PTVFT. Haha sorry, I lvoe saying that.

I can't wait to see pics!

Day 1.
As you all know, I have recently brought an old TV to turn into a fish tank. I've wanted to do this for several months, but i hadn't been able to find an old TV at a reasonable price. But after looking at every garage sale and auction, and through every junk shop, I found a TV. And I got it for a bargain too, $1 because it didn't work.

First thing I had to do was remove the insides. This proved to be more complicated then I had thought. I thought it would be a simple matter of kicking in the screen and hoping that I didn't cut my leg. So with help from a friend of the family who is a qulified electrician, I removed all the inisdes, being very careful with the high vaccuum chube, as it can implode if handled incorrectly. Or you could do as the guy on the website I got the instructions from did, and shoot the thing with a BB gun.

Now I have the empty shell of a TV, which over the next few weeks i will be turning into a fish tank. I'll keep this thread updated with the latest on my TV- Fish Tank project, and I'll have some pics up ASAP.

Day 2-
Well, today I didn't really do much to the TV except remove the rest of the insides. This only took me about 20 minutes. I have decided that I will need to construct my own fish tank out of plexiglass, as I don't think I will be able to buy one the same as what I want. I also have to think about what kind of fish I'll get. I don't want tropical fish, because they are hard to look after. I think I will settle for your everyday gold fish

There's heaps of different gold fish available PP, it should look great when finished.
