Poor thing! That reminds me of that movie, 'Where the heart is' with Natalie Portman where she names her daughter Americus. I think that was the name. I would have no problem naming my kid America as in America Ferrerra. But, what the heck is Americus? Is that a place? I think I rode through that town one time. A really small place.Though I think it would produce a really pretty nickname as in Ameri (pronounced Amarie).
