There is a series of books called The Private Series, and these books are written by a writer called Kate Brian.
I have read the first two, or it may be the first three. The books are set up a little bit like Gossip Girl, but not exactly the same of course. There are teenage characters and it is mostly set in an elite school dorm, where a group of teens known as The Billings Girls undergo mystery, romance and moral tests.
The books are really for girls, to be honest. They are full of suspense. There are deaths and it's like a big mystery to find out who it is, and there is romance, and motive. I don't really like books like this, but The first three books from The Private Series were really enjoyable to me.
