....that just really, really, really ticks me off. I don't see what's wrong with a girl interesting in transportation and knowing how to operate that sort of machinery so in case of emergency she can repair it on her own or be able to participate in motorsports.

It's not interests or sexuality that make a female a female. Honestly, if you just go around basing things on what's feminine and what's not, you're never going to be happy.
