Thanks for the kind words girls I've been given some pain killers and anti-inflamatories which are alright, except I have to make sure I don't stand up or sit down too quickly since they make me dizzy. The piercing was in only for about a year, and out for 2... but the receeding kept getting it worse, until I had to go see a specialist who recommended I get this done as soon as possible.The stitches are coming out next week, and after that it'll probably be another couple of weeks before it's healed. I'm sure it'll still be fairly sensitive though.
