Mondegreen is the term used when you hear something in a song that doesn't sound quite right... Because you've misheard the lyrics

So, when have you ever listened to a song, and misheard the lyrics as something really funny?

The first one I have is from a song by Delta Goodrem.
What I heard:
You're just so predictable
In every way
I want you to know I know your gay
It's so unbelievable
how you never change
you won't get away
with loving men
you're just so predictable

What it is:
You're just so predictable
In every way
I want you to know I know your game
It's so unbelievable
how you never change
you won't get away
with loving me
you're just so predictable

LMAO !!! I can just imagine you walking around singing that :p

I'll get back to this one, I'm sure there are LOTS I could add but it's just a bit too early for me just now lol

^^

Another one is 'Gurundji were working, for nothing but rations'. I heard it as 'The reindeer were working for nothing but rations...'. When you consider how serious the song is, it had me very confused :p

This wasn't me, but you know that song that goes, "I ain't no holla back girl?" My friend's girlfriend thought she said, "I ain't no Harlem black girl." LOL!!

And then Joey, my friend...oh boy, he had some good ones...I'll have to think about this!!

i thought of another i heard the words wrong.

Elvis isnt dead, Elvis isnt dead Elvis isnt dead cuz i heard him on the radio
........

i heard

Elvis is your dad, Elvis is your dad, Elvis is your dad.

*shame*
