Wow, so sorry you had to go thru that!  Your story reminds me of what happened a few weeks ago: when his nightmarish parents attacked me after finding out I might be pregnant with their son child,  which wasn't the case, but even if it was, no one of their business!  They acted like we were teens!  They ignored me during the dinner for several days!  They tried to turn him against me, yet expected me to behave like nothing happened when the woman tried to patch things up by trying to start a conversation with me.

I did talk with her a bit, but couldn't  behave like they never did such a horrible thing! They called me weird and antisocial for that, lol!  Gosh,if  my boyfriend had asked me to apologize for anything after that I swear I'd have done the same you did.
