I had heartburn really bad with mine and found that fresh oranges or room temperature Dr Pepper worked wonders, but I'm not sure why.  The oranges also helped with the nausea early on, too.


Another thing to try is to drink as much skim milk and water as you can stand during the day.  And to counteract that inevitable effect, gently lean forward every time you pee, but only as far forward as is comfortable.  It puts a little extra pressure on your bladder to better empty it.  This will help reduce your risk of getting a UTI, and it will give you an extra 5 or 10 minutes before you have to pee again.


(Anyone else ever think of just sleeping on the toilet since that seems to be where we're at all night & day anyway?  ;) )
