I used to dye my hair all the time. I did it from the time I was 14 until I was 39. Some people laugh at me for this, but I quit coloring my hair because of my pet bird. He likes to preen my hair, and I was worried about him ingesting chemical residue (birds are especially sensitive to that stuff, and he's already had some health issues). I do miss it sometimes and consider trying the non-toxic dyes, but they're so expensive compared to the other stuff.
