I have been fighting some sort of crud all weekend...I lost. I am now sicker than 3 dogs, freezing to death, and I hate my wonderful new boyfriend. Actually, it's not just him. I hate everything today!!! I hate being cold in a room that is NOT cold, I hate shivering, I hate everything that is on TV, I hate MySpace, I even hate ice cream right now...

Wait a minute...am I actually starting to feel better because of the venting?? Hmmmm...

I'm still freezing though...

It's a funny thing. It was drizzling all day, and I was in a crap mood, feeling like crap...but now it is finally raining hard enough to get through the redwoods and is currently pounding on my little tin roof. I am being dramatic, yes, but I really do live under the redwoods, and this room really does have a tin roof, and it is really loud!!. But anyway, I got my cozy down comforter and my pillow and am all comfy now. My hands are still cold, but my bones seem to have thawed at least. And I am currently up to merely disliking everything right now...except for the rain. Yay for rain...
 
I always liked rain on a tin roof. My parents house when I was younger had a tin roof (over my room) and it was always easier to sleep when it was raining.

Thank you! I DO feel better. It's all good, and it is supposed to rain again tonight. We are the place in No. California that they say averages about 100" of rain per year. I like it, it makes me feel like watching a movie (or a CSI marathon) and sipping hot cocoa snuggled up in my comforter. The only problem is that the rain gets so loud that I can't hear the tv, LOL!
