I hide from my idiotic ideas and wishful thinking. “I’m sorry,” I say trying to comfort my hurt, but really I’m not.That’s why I’m here right now. In my room, I hide behind locked doors. I press the gentle valentine bear against my chest and whisper comforting words in the furry ear. “I’m okay,” then contradict, “No I’m not.” If only you could love me. If only.
