I never see my partner do this. I know he finds other girls attractive, as I find other men attractive but neither of us would 'stare' at someone we thought was attractive. Because they are irrelevant. We have been together for 5 years and are still so in love that other attractive people make no difference. Even if one of us did stare, I don't think the other one would even care. Because we are both so attracted to each other.
