My boyfriend does that a lot, I don't mind, but he doesn't seem to like it if I try to do the same.  I'm not the jealous type, so glancing at other women (as long as he doesn't do that for far too long that he stops paying attention to me) is fine. 

I feel kinda guilty if I try to do the same tho, it must be because I come from a really macho country where the woman is supposed to completely summit herself to her partner and forget her needs, at least that's how it was when my mom was young.

  I was taught that glancing at other men while with your man is wrong and should never be done.  I still do it from time to time tho
