It depends on the things you let your kids watch, but in general most of the TV shows we have today aren't the best for our kid's minds! Just look at the reality TV shows we have nowadays! Most of them send the wrong message to kids, there is no way I'd ever let my kids watch reality TV at all. I actually wonder if having a TV at the reach of their finger tips would be a good idea! I really think I'll not let my kids watch TV when they are too young. I might wait until they are 8, because when you are too young and watch something you can't really understand, that's when something as bad as psychological damage can happen. I know because my parents would let me watch everything I wanted when I was little, yes, including violent cartoons. I'm not going to exaggerate, but watching that so early on really had an impact on me.
