I'm someone that has TV on in my house most of the time. I think it's more of a background thing. I think that as long as you're not using a TV as a personal babysitter, it's fine. If your kid is sitting in front of a TV all day, then yes, it's an issue.If you're not monitoring what your kids are watching, it's also an issue. Even certain cartoons.
