This has been a thing for as long as I could remember. People always seem to say that letting kids watch too much television is a bad thing, because it will warp their minds with rubbish that isn't true. As I have gotten older, I can see clearly that a lot of the stuff that is portrayed on television is NOTHING like it is or would be in real life. Television is a fantasy box. Also, some say that TV hypnotizes people. My parents sat me in front of the television quite a lot when I was growing up, and I think I turned out pretty good as far as having my own mind and making my own observations instead of falling for the stereotypes that television perpetuates. So why do people say that TV is bad for kids?
