Don't lie. People don't like to be lied to and get really upset when they find out you've been lying to them. Honesty is always best.  Be honest with the people in your life and you'll have much better results in all your relationships.

As for if he likes you or not......don't stress about it. The quickest way to chase anyone off is to become obsessed with them. Be natural and don't assume just cuz you haven't heard from them in the past 20 minutes that they whole world has come crashing down.
