It really depends. I do like wood floors, but they can be a pain to keep clean and you've always gotta be careful with liquids. They get cold in the summer, slippery when wet, and sticky when dirty. Meh. I like the *idea* of hardwood floors but I don't like having the entire house that way because then I feel the need to put down rugs.
