YEY for getting all that out! With regards to your friend Reuben - when I was growing up through primary school and early high school, my best friend was my next door neighbour... a boy. And I constantly got the "oooh he's a boy" line dropped on me. I learnt afterwards though, people don't say it to have a go at us or to make us feel uncomfortable... I dunno why they do it to be fair. I've found myself saying it to JenJen my neice (she'll prob back me up haha!). After saying it to her, I'm like oh wait, that's what folk said to me and I hated it. It's very wierd huh? Don't worry... one day your bro will have a friend who's a girl
