Hi, I'm a grandmother, and I am 54. I have two beautiful granddaughters by my only child, daughter, who is 28. I also have 5 step grandkids, the eldest is 9 the youngest is 2, they are with my 2nd husbands, kids. so 7 in total, aging from 9 down to 2. I understand how you feel, it is the natural scheme of things to want to have grand kids, and no matter how old or young you are, the feeling is still the same, but your kids have there own lives to lead, and they will do things in there own time, the only thing you can do is be patient, and hope its not too long before you get the precious gift you are yearning for. best wishes to you.
