I've had this best friend for 8 years now. And we've been there for each other for such a long time that even his most deepest and darkest secrets are kept in my memory vault.
One time, my boyfriend asked me if it ever occurred to us to be in a relationship where we are more than just friends. I was quite in disbelief but not surprised as a couple of people have already asked me this question. We are almost the same and as expected, we think alike and understand each other without the need for further explanation. But it just doesn't feel right to have more than what we already have.
Have you ever had that kind of friendship? The one where you know you're just better off as friends?
