Okay, I'm not a man hater. I <3 men. I just don't always love some of the things they do or say. For example, why is every bad mood or upset blamed on "female problems"? Sometimes, I'm just ticked off, and it has nothing to do with that time of the month! lol

What do men do that bugs you?

(Just pointing out my "man" problems) Leave cereal boxes everywhere. Doesn't flush or forgets to constantly. Sets his alarm super early - never wakes up to it - I wake up it - he stays out cold.

    I shrug - it's mostly little things.

My biggest bugbear is the toilet seat up! I cannot bear it and it annoys me. When I lived in dorms all the girls ganged up and told the boys off and we used to stick post it notes on the seat to remind them to put it back down.

Another is manspreading when they sit on the bus or train and spread their legs out. I often uncross my legs several times to kick them (accidentally on purpose) to force them to put their legs together.

He does not wash the dishes. Half the time I don't care, the other times I really think how dare he!

I hate when I say something and he reacts with "You're always so annoyed" and I was not really annoyed but his response just annoys me for real. Or when I'm trying to express feelings and instead of listening, he just comes up with "Calm down" and "I don't want to fight". I just want that he listens a moment!

Or when he blames any of my mood on the full moon or my upcoming period. Urgh.

Telling everything to their mommies. I totally hate it when a man doesn't defend his woman, specially if he has a very bad family who keep attacking and criticizing her all the time. Guys, is NOT right to turn your back on your woman, specially if you are already engaged to her! A man must be supportive of his wife or future wife, specially if it's his family the one causing her so much trouble.

I am quite familiar with this, because it did happen to me. I was at first mad because he wasn't clear and loud enough about how wrong it is to do that to me. In the end he did and that seemed to fix the issues. But I had to be very clear to him, that he needed to do something about it. He didn't want to pick a side, but in the end I guess he chose mine.

Mummy's boys are ones to steer clear of. An ex of mine was always trying to get attention from his mother and in the end he chose her over me by asking me to apologize for something which wasn't my fault to keep her happy. I said 'no' for my own integrity and thought if this is how things are going to be then I need to get out, so I did.

Wow, so sorry you had to go thru that! Your story reminds me of what happened a few weeks ago: when his nightmarish parents attacked me after finding out I might be pregnant with their son child, which wasn't the case, but even if it was, no one of their business! They acted like we were teens! They ignored me during the dinner for several days! They tried to turn him against me, yet expected me to behave like nothing happened when the woman tried to patch things up by trying to start a conversation with me.

I did talk with her a bit, but couldn't behave like they never did such a horrible thing! They called me weird and antisocial for that, lol! Gosh,if my boyfriend had asked me to apologize for anything after that I swear I'd have done the same you did.
