They state that US radio stations were last night reporting how the pop star had given birth - a month early - after being rushed to hospital in Santa Monica.
They recount how her hubby Kevin Federline was with her in the theatre for the emergency delivery, with her mum and sister waiting anxiously outside.
However, David Frossman - her publicist in the UK - has countered these reports by saying: "Britney Spears has not given birth. She's not even in hospital. The baby is due some time in the next month."
