Shadows​

Sweep the hair from my face​

Gaze into my eyes. Steal a kiss​

Slowly, deliberately you move, pull me to you,​

My head to your chest​

Listening to your heart beating​

Seems its keeping a perfect rhythm​

With the beat of the drum that projects from music​

Played off in the background​

Breathing, moving as one​

Bodies intertwined, shadows dance on the wall​

Cast from the flicker of a candle ​

Portraying us as one.​
